An electronic system that controls the transportation of goods in Romania. The Ministry of Finance uses this system to control the international transportation of goods in the national territory. The purpose of RO e-Transport is to narrow the VAT gap, reduce tax evasion, and prevent illegal trade. It covers purchases and deliveries within the EU, imports, exports, and transits through Romania.
