Chilean taxpayers use digital certificates to sign a DTE (Documento Tributario Electrónico) and to gain authorized access to both portal-based and automated SII (Servicio de Impuestos Internos) e-invoicing web services. There are several accredited Certificate Authorities (CAs) that can issue digital certificates for these purposes.
