The system that operates the root Certificate Authority (CA) for the Brazilian invoicing system and is the first authority in the certificate chain. Many second level CAs are subordinated to the ICP-Brasil hierarchy and can issue, distribute, revoke, and manage end-user certificates. Sovos is pre-configured with CA certificates from a number of Brazilian CAs, and you can request additional ones.
