How to handle permit numbers when registering products in Arkansas

Understand how to set up your permit numbers correctly to register products DtC and Wholesale.

If you plan on registering a product to be shipped both to AR wholesalers and AR residents, you'll need to register the product under the Suppliers Permit permit number. Separate registrations for DtC and Wholesale are not required by the state of Arkansas, but even if you register a product as a combined wholesale and DtC registration, you can't ship directly to a residence unless you have an active Direct Wine Shipping Permit.

Registering products only for Direct-to-Consumer

  1. In PRO, select a COLA.
  2. In the State field, select Arkansas.
  3. Add your license number.
To complete a DtC-only registration, your license number must say DIRECT next to it. If you expect your license to say DIRECT and it does not, reach out to the state for help.
  4. Complete the Product Details section.
  5. Indicate whether or not you are the brand owner and add supporting documents.
  6. Review and submit your registration.
