How Sovos Intelligence works

Understand the three ideas behind Sovos Intelligence: mirror visibility, cross-source reconciliation, and regulated data pipelines.

Sovos Intelligence connects directly to your Sovos products and works with data Sovos already processes on your behalf, pulled through the same regulated pipelines Sovos uses to submit to tax authorities. You don't build integrations or prepare data separately. Three ideas shape how the platform works.

Mirror visibility
Mirror visibility brings together the data submitted on your behalf and the responses authorities return into one reconciled view, so you see your tax position the way authorities see it.
Cross-source reconciliation (Enterprise)
Sovos Intelligence reconciles tax-relevant data across different sources, even when their formats and regulatory requirements differ. You define how records should match, and rule-based automations handle known exceptions, such as country-specific invoice formats or VAT treatments, so mismatches are flagged for you. This is especially useful when you manage VAT, SAF-T, and e-invoicing obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
Regulated data pipelines
Sovos Intelligence is built on the same regulated pipelines Sovos uses to submit data to tax authorities. Because your analysis runs on data that's already been validated and submitted, your reports and insights reflect real submissions rather than a separate copy you maintain. On Enterprise, you can build your own reports on this foundation, for example, to review exceptions or prepare for an audit.
