Version 13.5
New and improved
You can now add and update exemptions without certificate images in CertManager and the CertManager API.
-
You can add an exemption directly in CertManager instead of adding and converting the certificate.
-
We updated the bulk exemption upload template to support exemptions without images. To download the new template, follow the steps for adding exemptions in bulk using the CertManager template.
Important: From now on, you must use the updated template to add exemptions. If you use a previous template, your upload will fail. -
We added several APIs to support exemptions without images:
-
We added a filter to the Exemptions page and Exemptions report to only include exemptions without images.
Bug fixes
-
The notes field for the APIs for creating an exemption (V1 and V2) will now save correctly.
-
If you add an exemption in CertManager that matches an exemption already in Global Tax Determination but with a different reason for exemption, the exemption will have the IN_PROGRESS status. Previously, the exemption would have the AUDITABLE_INCOMPLETE status, which prevented users from editing the reason for exemption or deleting the exemption.
-
You will now receive a message when moving the effective date for an existing exemption to an earlier date, as the effective date must be manually updated in Global Tax Determination.
-
You will now receive a message when entering an effective date that is more than one year into the future to reduce the chance of saving an incorrect effective date.
