New and improved
- Tax preferences
-
We updated the default tax preferences on the Tax Preferences page for several states to reflect current tax rules. You can now see accurate default selections indicated by an asterisk next to each tax preference.
We added the ability to change your filing frequency mid-period. You can now switch between longer and shorter filing frequencies without waiting for the next period to begin.
We added the ability to update your state form mid-period. You can now switch to a different form for the same state and include the updated filing in the current period's queue.
Bug fixes
- Renewals
- We fixed a problem that was causing incorrect effective and expiration dates for renewal registrations when processed outside the renewal period. You can now process renewals at any time with the correct dates.
- Reporting fixes
We fixed a problem that was causing an "Invalid email address" error when editing information on the basic information page. You can now update your account details without encountering this error.
We fixed a problem with markup fee calculations for Mississippi state orders. You can now see the correct markup fees applied to orders shipped to Mississippi.
We fixed errors with Missouri sales to wholesale dealers on the monthly report. You can now see accurate tax due amounts and correct distributor license flags on Missouri wholesale reports.
We fixed a problem in the Washington LIQ-318 report that was causing the Foreign/Domestic column to incorrectly display "Domestic" for brands with the Force Foreign setting turned on.
You can now generate the WA LIQ-318 report with accurate Foreign/Domestic classifications based on your brand setup and COLA origin country settings.
Regulatory updates
- State changes
We updated local tax jurisdiction mappings for the Town of Cowarts and Town of Gantt in Alabama. These jurisdictions now file through the Alabama Department of Revenue instead of the previous tax administration.
We removed Illinois from the list of Product Registration Online states. Illinois no longer accepts product registration online submissions.
