How to register your products
If you have a new brand, register it as a New Brand.
If you have a new COLA under an existing brand, register it as a Line Extension.
If you make changes to a product or label, register your product as a Revision.
For wine, revisions are only required for changes in bottle size, ABV, graphics, vintage, or appellation.
For beer, revisions are only required for changes in bottle size, ABV, or graphics. Additional container sizes do not need to be registered.
Variety Packs or Value Added Packages (VAPs) do not need to be registered as long as the individual alcoholic products inside the package are already registered.

All fees are subject to an additional $5 technology charge.

Some registrations are approved upon submission, while others require review. If you have not received approval or a request for supporting information within three days, leave a comment for the state administrator on your registration, or reach out to the state.
License information
All South Carolina license numbers are nine digits. If you have a suffix on your license number indicating license type, exclude this when entering your license number in PRO.
Distributor information
South Carolina requires distributor assignments as part of label registration. Malt registrations must also include distributor territory assignments. Partial territories are accepted.

Renewals
Renewals for South Carolina are only required for spirits and liquor products. Renew your spirits registrations by August 31 on even-numbered years. The first five brand renewals are free. Each additional renewal costs $20 in state fees.
Liquor producers must also renew by August 31 on even years, and they must submit a new Application for Liquor Representative (ABL-107B) with their renewal outside of PRO.

In South Carolina, you may not register beer with an ABV greater than 14%, or wine with an ABV greater than 21%.
