Cancel invoices
Learn if you can cancel invoices in the e-Fatura and e-Arşiv systems.
e-Fatura
In e-Fatura, you can return some or all items (IADE), but you cannot directly cancel invoices.
e-Arşiv
You must cancel or issue a credit note in e-Arşiv depending on the monthly reporting deadline.
- Before monthly reporting deadline
Issue a cancellation notification to Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı (GİB) within the specified timeframe.
- After monthly reporting deadline
You must return some or all items (IADE), following the e-Fatura requirements.
