Manage products

Learn about products and how to manage them within your organization.

Products are country-specific and document-type-specific identifiers that Sovos defines for each country and, if necessary, different products within the same country. A company must have at least one product but can have multiple products. Compliance Network organization-level settings allow you to do the following with products:

  • Create and add new products.

  • Edit the process type of a product.

Add product

Learn how to add a product to your organization.

  1. Go to Settings > Organization and click Products.
  2. Click Add product.

  3. Select the appropriate Category and Product ID from the dropdown menus.
  4. Click the toggle for Inbound or Outbound, or enable both.

  5. Click Save.

Edit product

Learn how to edit a product in your organization.

  1. Go to Settings > Organization and click Products.
  2. Click on a product you want to edit in the Products table.
  3. Enable or disable Inbound and Outbound toggles.
