Use Sovi AI with audit rules

Use the Sovos chatbot integration with SAF-T to understand audit findings and resolve them.

What is Sovi AI?

Sovi is the Sovos built-in AI assistant, available 24/7 directly within the Sovos platform. It helps you get answers without searching documentation or opening support tickets, all without leaving your current screen.

Sovi AI can answer questions about product features, guide you through processes step-by-step, show relevant documentation, respond in your language, and retain conversation history across a session.

Powered by large language models through AWS Bedrock, Sovi AI is built around Sovos product knowledge and regulatory expertise. All conversation data is processed securely and never used to train Sovos products , in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Sovi AI integration modes
You can use Sovi AI with the SAF-T solution in two ways:
  • The Ask Sovi button.

  • The Diagnose button.

Ask Sovi AI button
In the Audit Results section, the Ask Sovi AI button appears at the end of each rule row. When you click it, Sovi AI writes a pre-prompt in the chat.
Diagnose button
On the Findings Results page, when you click the Diagnose button, Sovi AI sends a predefined prompt to the chat automatically.

Use the Ask Sovi button

Using the Ask Sovi button is the most specific approach when you deal with audit findings. You can better understand each rule flagged during the audit process.
  1. In the left panel, go to Audit > Audit Results.
  2. In the Audit table, find the rule you want to know more about, then click the Ask Sovi button at the end of the row.
Clicking the Ask Sovi button generates a specific question about the rule flagged in the audit process. The chatbot answers the question, and provides further explanation and action items to fix the problem.

Diagnose the audit findings

If SAF-T finds any problems during the audit process, you see the Sovi Diagnose box on the Audit Results page. This approach is more general than the individual Ask Sovi button, because Sovi AI bundles the problems into a single prompt and helps you fix them.
  1. In the left panel, go to Audit > Audit Results.
  2. Click Diagnose within the Sovi Diagnose box.
Sovi AI Diagnose analyzes the flagged problems in the current report. It also provides more information about each rule and then recommends action items to resolve those findings.
