Update a customer's assigned Entity/Use Code without leaving CertManager.

1. Expire all existing exemptions for the customer or exclude the exemptions from tax calculations.
   • To expire an exemption, go to Exemptions and open the exemption, then set the expiration date to today's date and click Update.
   • To exclude an exemption from tax calculations, go to Exemptions and open the exemption, then clear the Apply to tax calculations checkbox and click Update.
2. Add a new exemption for the customer with the updated reason for exemption.
   Note:

   If you receive an error saying "Not updating entity use code" after trying to save the new exemption, there are likely still active exemptions with the old reason for exemption. Make sure that all exemptions for the customer are expired or excluded from tax calculations, then add the new exemption.
