The six-digit authentication code is not working

If your six-digit codes aren't working, follow these steps.

If these steps don't work, check your authenticator app's knowledge base for app-specific troubleshooting tips.

  1. Make sure your device clock is accurate.
  2. Enable automatic time sync on your phone or computer.
  3. Try a new code after adjusting the clock and time sync settings.
  1. Wait for a new code. They change every 30 seconds, so don't reuse old codes.
  2. Check that you're using the right account in your authenticator app.
  3. Don't include spaces - enter only the six digits.
