Unclaimed Property

Coming from UPExchange?

Learn about the benefits of ReportMyUP and how it is different from UPExchange.

What to expect

The upgrade from UPExchange to ReportMyUP was automatic, your service continues seamlessly. The UPExchange login page now redirects to a sunset information page where you can log in to ReportMyUP. Your active users and all your data have moved with you, and your service will continue until the end of your current subscription.

Before your renewal date, you must add your billing and payment information in ReportMyUP. If you can't log in, check out these troubleshooting steps.

Note:

ReportMyUP and ReportMyUP Plus do not support property attachments. Keep supporting documents locally for audit purposes. If you need to store documents on individual property records, consider our enterprise solution, UPEnterprise. Learn more about UPEnterprise.

Frequently asked questions

Is ReportMyUP the right fit for me?
ReportMyUP and ReportMyUP Plus are designed for standard unclaimed property reporting workflows. Before you start, consider the following:
Property attachments
ReportMyUP and ReportMyUP Plus do not support uploading attachments to property records. You should keep any supporting documents locally for audit purposes. If you need to store documents on individual property records, consider our enterprise solution, UPEnterprise. Contact us to learn more.
Deadline notifications
ReportMyUP displays due diligence and reporting deadlines in the Important dates section on the Dashboard, replacing the UPCalendar feature. Email notifications are coming in a future release.
User access levels
ReportMyUP creates all users as Admins. ReportMyUP Plus supports the same access levels as UPExchange: Admin, Basic, and Read only.
Multiple reporting entities
ReportMyUP supports one reporting entity per subscription. ReportMyUP Plus supports up to five. For more than five entities, UPEnterprise is available.
Complex property types
ReportMyUP is designed for small businesses and does not support Mineral Interest, Safe Deposit Box, or Share-type properties. ReportMyUP Plus supports Safe Deposit Box reporting.
If you have questions about whether ReportMyUP meets your needs, visit reportmyup.com or contact Support.
Will my current import file work in ReportMyUP?
Your existing UPExchange import file will work in ReportMyUP with one adjustment: remove the Federal ID and Business Unit columns before importing.

ReportMyUP does not support these columns, and leaving them in causes a critical import error. All other fields map directly to ReportMyUP. You can find column header names on the Instructions tab of the ReportMyUP import template.

Is there an additional cost associated with the new solution?
Your existing pricing is maintained for the remainder of your current subscription. New pricing takes effect at renewal, see the ReportMyUP pricing page for details.
How do invoices work in ReportMyUP?
You will receive new invoices by email on your renewal date. You can also find them on the Settings > Billing page in ReportMyUP. Add a payment method in ReportMyUP before your renewal date to avoid interruptions.
What payment options do I have?
ReportMyUP supports credit card and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments. You can add a payment method directly in the app. Learn how to add a payment method.
What if I don't want to renew my subscription on ReportMyUP?
You can cancel your subscription directly in ReportMyUP. If you have questions about cancellation, contact Support.
What if I need to modify my subscription before my renewal?
Contact Support for help downgrading your plan or adjusting your record volume before your first renewal. After your initial renewal, you can make subscription changes directly in the app on the Settings > Billing page. Learn how to change or upgrade your subscription.
What happens if ReportMyUP doesn't meet my business needs?
