How Sovos Account works
Sovos Account uses the OpenID Connect protocol to verify identity. The authentication server authenticates users and returns profile information as JSON Web Tokens (JWT) through RESTful endpoints.
Sovos Account workflow
Using Sovos Account involves three main steps:
- Contact the Sovos Professional Services team to obtain your credentials and configuration details.
- Configure your OpenID Connect request to define which information (scopes) you need and which verification methods (workflows) people will complete.
- Redirect people for identity verification when users access your products or environments. After successful verification, your application receives secure tokens with verified identity information to grant access.
