Learn how to set up and register non-alcoholic beverage products.
A product is a non-alcoholic beverage when its Alcohol by Volume (ABV) is from 0.01% to 0.49%. You can mark the following product types as non-alcoholic:

Wine

Sparkling wine

Spirits
-
Beer
-
Cider

Malt beverage
Note:
ShipCompliant doesn't save a non-alcoholic product with an ABV outside this range. You can't mark a product with an ABV of 0% as non-alcoholic.
You can register non-alcoholic beverages with a No COLA (Certificate of Label Approval) label, the same way as other low-ABV products. For image requirements and beer and malt container settings, see
Set up and register a non-alcoholic product
- Go to .
- To add a product, click Add New. To edit an existing product, click Edit next to it.
- Enter your product information, including an ABV value from 0.01 to 0.49.
- Select your beverage type from the Product Type dropdown, then select the Is Non-Alcoholic? checkbox.
- Click Save.
- Go to , then click New Registration.
- Select the type of registration you need.
- Click to register a low-ABV product (no COLA).
- Select your product type, then enter the label description.
- Click Fix to associate products with your new label.
- Search for your products, then add them to the registration.
Mark multiple products as non-alcoholic
- Go to .
- Click Import Products.
- Download the ShipCompliant template.
- Add your data to the template.
- Enter your product information, including an ABV from 0.01 to 0.49 for each non-alcoholic product.
- In the Is Non-Alcoholic column, enter Y for each non-alcoholic product. Enter N or leave it blank for all other products.
- Click Choose File and select your completed template. Then click Upload.
Review your import results. The results show rows with Y and rows with an ABV outside 0.01 to 0.49 as rejected.
