Learn how to set up and register beer or malt beverage products.
For beer and malt, make sure to select 1 under # of Containers per SKU. If you're importing products, make sure to fill out this field with 1s in the import template.
Products with an ABV below 7% (such as hard seltzer and kombucha) will need to be registered as a NO COLA label. ShipCompliant doesn't pull label information for low-ABV products through our integration with the TTB, so you'll register these products slightly differently.
- Add images to the products you'd like to register.
JPG or PNG images are preferred. PDF images are discouraged.
- Adjust the physical dimensions of your image manually, even if the image has a fixed height and width.
Always select Brand (front) as the type of image, even if the image also covers the back of the container.
- Go to Registrations - State-New and click New Registration.
- Select the type of registration you need.
- Click to register a low ABV product (no COLA).
- Select your product type and fill out the label description.
- Click Fix to associate products with your new label.
- Search for your products and add them to the registration. Then exit the registration flow.
On the Setup - Labels/COLAs page, you'll see a green check mark next to the newly created registration indicating that you've linked your product to a label.
