New and improved

ReportMyUP and ReportMyUP Plus
Canadian province reporting
You can now indicate whether your business has a physical presence in Alberta and New Brunswick on the Business Information page. This determines where properties with Canadian owner addresses should be reported:
  • Quebec: Always report to Quebec, regardless of your business's state of incorporation.

  • Alberta and New Brunswick: Report to these provinces when you indicate physical presence there; otherwise report to your business's state of incorporation.

  • Other Canadian provinces: Report to your business's state of incorporation.

The Canadian presence section is highlighted.

Note:

When you update this setting, the system automatically recalculates property dormancy and due dates for compliance. During import, you can review and update your physical presence settings before uploading your file.

Bug fix

ReportMyUP and ReportMyUP Plus
UETA agreement
The UETA agreement now displays the correct jurisdiction name when submitting reports to Idaho.

Regulatory updates

ReportMyUP and ReportMyUP Plus
Canadian provinces
We updated the following documents on the All tab of the Compliance Resources page to include Alberta, New Brunswick, and Quebec: Payment Methods, Due Diligence by State, State Reporting Requirements, and Negative Report Summary.
Negative reporting
The Virgin Islands no longer accepts negative reports by email; you must upload them directly to their website. The Negative Report Summary document has been updated with this change.
New Brunswick property codes and dormancy periods
You can now add property for New Brunswick with jurisdiction-specific codes and dormancy calculations. Reporting functionality will be available for the spring deadlines.

Texas designated representative code
A new relationship code, DR (Designated Representative), is now available for safe deposit box (SDxx) properties. Use this to ensure that both the owner and their designated representative receive due diligence letters. The representative can respond on behalf of the owner. Owners with this relationship code do not appear on state reports.
