Configure the adapter.ini file

The following steps describe how to configure the adapter.ini file to connect SAP with Tax Determination.

If your connector is installed on a computer running Linux, you'll have to update and edit the parameters manually by opening the adapter.ini file.

You can also use a computer running Windows to edit the parameters with the Configuration GUI and then copy the edited adapter.ini file over to the Linux computer.

  1. Go to the connector's main folder and execute the runConfigurationGUI file.
  2. Update the parameters by entering the information in the required fields on the Common, Server, Destination, and Connection tabs.
Check the Adapter.ini configuration parameters section for the parameters and their descriptions.
    Tip:

Parameters automatically populate with default values, but you can change them if needed.

  3. Click Save.
When the adapter.ini file is updated, a confirmation message will ask you to restart the connector server to apply the changes.
If you left a required field blank, you will get an error message listing the blank fields. Enter the required information in the highlighted fields and click Save again.
