Install the connector

Learn how to install the Sovos Tax Integration Package for the NetSuite SuiteTax for Tax Determination.

Note:

This article is for NetSuite SuiteTax users only. For the legacy version, read Install the Sovos/NetSuite Tax Integration Bundle in the NetSuite Legacy Tax documentation.

  • You must have an Administrator role.
  • NetSuite SuiteTax must be activated. To check if it's activated, follow these steps:
    1. Go to Setup > Company > Enable Features.
    2. Click the Tax tab.
    3. Confirm that the SuiteTax option is selected.
  • If you have the United States CA nexus configured in your NetSuite SuiteTax environment, you must deactivate it, as this nexus is no longer valid.
  1. Go to Setup > Integration > SOAPWeb Services Preferences and copy your Account ID.
  2. Ask your Professional Services representative to make the Sovos Tax Integration Package available. Provide your Account ID with the request.
  3. When the bundle is available, go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search&Install Bundles > List.
  4. On the Installed Bundles screen, click New.
    You are redirected to the Search & Install Bundles screen.
  5. Enter Sovos Tax Integration Package in the Keywords field, then click Search.
  6. Click Sovos Tax Integration Package.
  7. Optional: To view a list of files and other components that the bundle will be installing into your NetSuite environment, click the Components tab.
  8. Click Install.
  9. On the Preview Bundle Install screen, click Install Bundle.
  1. To check the status of the installation, go back to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search&Install Bundles > List.

  2. On the Installed Bundles screen, you'll see a Pending status if the installation is still in progress.

  3. When the installation is complete, you'll see a green checkmark in the Status column.
