Create a direct cash sale

How to create a direct cash sale in NetSuite SuiteTax with taxes from Tax Determination.

  1. Go to Transactions > Customers > Issue Credit Memos.
  2. Select a customer from the Customer dropdown.
  3. Select a location from the Location dropdown.
  4. On the Items tab, select an item from the Item dropdown.
  5. Enter an amount in the Amount field.
  6. Click Add to add the line item to the invoice.
  7. Click Preview Tax.
  8. Check the total tax amount in the Summary section.
  9. Optional: Go to the Tax Details tab to check the individual tax lines.
  10. Click Save.
  11. Click Refund.
    A new transaction will display with all of the fields automatically populated with the information selected in the cash sale.
  12. Click Save.
