Learn how to set up tax calculation overrides in NetSuite SuiteTax for Tax Determination.

1. Go to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Record Types.
2. In the Sovos Configuration Record row, click List.
3. In the Sovos Configuration row, click Edit.
4. On the Sovos Configuration Record page, go to the Sovos Tax Configuration tab.
5. Select the appropriate options based on what you want to happen in Tax Determination when there is an override in NetSuite:
   • If you want overrides through NetSuite to trigger a back tax calculation call to Tax Determination:

     1. Select Sovos Enable Tax Calc Type 5 For Override.

     2. Clear Do Not Audit To Sovos.

   • If you want overrides through NetSuite to trigger a calc tax calculation call to Tax Determination:
     1. Clear Sovos Enable Tax Calc Type 5 For Overrides.

     2. Clear Do Not Audit To Sovos.

   • If you don't want overrides through NetSuite to trigger any calls to Tax Determination, select Do Not Audit To Sovos.
6. Click Save.
