Map your charts of accounts to Sovos organization codes using lookup values so Tax Determination assigns invoices to the correct organization.

1. Create a lookup to store your organization codes.
   1. Click Setup, then click Lookups in the Company Setup section.
   2. Click Create.
   3. In the Name field, enter a name for the lookup.
      Tip:

      Use a name that indicates that this lookup stores organization codes.

   4. Select Active if it isn't already selected, then click Create.
2. Create lookup values for each organization code.
   1. Click Setup, then click Lookup Values in the Company Setup section.
   2. Click Create.
   3. Select the lookup you created in Step 1 from the Lookup dropdown.
   4. In the Name field, enter the organization code, then select Default.
   5. Select the chart of accounts that is associated with this organization from the Chart Of Accounts dropdown.
   6. Select Active if it isn't already selected, then click Create.
   7. Repeat steps a-f for all organizations.
3. Add the Organization Code field to your invoice headers.
   1. Click Setup, then click Custom Fields in the Company Setup section.
   2. Select Invoices from the Select an object to customize dropdown.
   3. Drag the Lookup field into the Drag custom fields here box in the Invoices section.
   4. Click the Lookup field to open the field details.
   5. Enter Organization Code in the Prompt field, then enter gtd_org_code in the Field Name field.
   6. Select the lookup you created in Step 1 from the Parameters dropdown.
   7. Confirm that Active and Editable are selected, then select the Required option.
   8. Click Done.
