Regulatory updates
- Alabama
- We updated the Alabama Administrative Filing requirements. You can now file with the updated state requirements.
- California
- We updated the California CDTFA-531A2 Sales and Use tax return with revised form templates for PDF and Excel formats. You can now download returns with the latest state-required formatting. We also updated address rate overrides for California. You can now apply the correct tax rates for California addresses.
- Colorado
- We updated the City of Monument and City of Grand Junction sales tax returns to reflect the elimination of the vendor discount. The vendor fee discount rate changed to zero percent effective January 1, 2026.
- Connecticut
- We updated the Connecticut OS-114 Sales and Use tax return with cosmetic changes for 2026. You can now file returns with the updated form version.
- Georgia
- We updated the Georgia ST-3 Sales and Use tax report to reflect county tax rate changes effective January 1, 2026. The updates affect 36 counties including Banks, Berrien, Bryan, Bulloch, Butts, Candler, Charlton, Chattooga, Chattahoochee, Clay, Colquitt, Cook, Coweta, Decatur, Elbert, Emanuel, Evans, Gordon, Jasper, Jefferson, Lamar, Liberty, Lincoln, Long, McDuffie, Miller, Monroe, Murray, Oglethorpe, Peach, Schley, Turner, Upson, Warren, White, and Wilkes.
- Illinois
- We updated the ST-1 and ST-2 Return forms for Illinois. We also removed the state-level food tax that was eliminated. You can now file Illinois returns with the updated forms and correct tax calculations.
- Iowa
- We updated the Iowa Sales and Use tax return with cosmetic changes for 2026 including text and date changes on multiple pages. You can now file returns with the updated form version.
- Maine
- We updated the Maine Sales and Use tax return with the following changes effective January 1, 2026: updated cannabis tax rate references, removed the pesticide fee line, and updated revision dates. You can now file returns with the updated form version.
- Michigan
- We updated the Michigan Form 5080 and Form 5081 Sales, Use, and Withholding tax returns with cosmetic changes for 2026. The updates include revised dates, updated line text, and new form code numbers. We also added an electronic filing option for the Michigan Annual Sales Tax Reconciliation Report. You can now file the annual reconciliation report electronically through Michigan Treasury Online.
- Nebraska
- We updated the Nebraska Form 10 State and Local Sales and Use tax return with the following changes effective January 1, 2026: the vendor discount rate changed from three percent (maximum $150) to 2.5 percent (maximum $75), and we added the City of Filley to the local tax schedule. You can now file returns with the updated calculations and locality.
- Nevada
- We updated the Nevada Combined Sales and Use tax return with a new due date and cosmetic changes effective January 1, 2026. The due date changed to the twentieth of each month following the close of the reporting period.
- North Dakota
- We updated the North Dakota ST-Local Sales and Use tax return with rate changes and a new jurisdiction effective January 1, 2026. The updates include new rates for the City of Sherwood (two percent), City of Surrey (three percent), and Walsh County (one percent).
- Ohio
We added support for the Ohio ALC-37 upload file format. You can now download an .xlsx file for the Ohio ALC-37 Wine and Mixed Beverage Tax Return as an alternative to the PDF download. This upload file is available for clients who select "I EFile this report" in their report settings and supports annual filings due in January 2026.
- Tennessee
- We updated the Tennessee SLS-450 Sales and Use tax return with PDF and XML schema updates for 2026. You can now file returns with the updated form version.
