Regulatory updates
- Colorado
We remapped seven tax jurisdiction codes to their current reporting codes on the Colorado Retail Sales and Use Tax Return. Amounts for El Paso, Las Animas, Mesa, Fremont, Summit, and Garfield counties now report under the codes the state expects. The change applies to earlier periods you regenerate.
We updated the Colorado DR-0173 Retailer's Use Tax Return to match the state's latest template. The return replaces the Fire District (FD Prior to 2012) columns with an active ECD column. Amounts now map to that column.
The return also includes the following changes:
The new revision date
Bar code number, form code, and account number format
Reworded text
The service fee cells for the state and the RTA are removed
The update applies to the Small Suppliers Use Tax Only and Use Tax Only frequencies, monthly, quarterly, and annual.
- Connecticut
We updated the Connecticut OS-114 Sales and Use Tax Return to match the state's latest template. The return includes:
The new revision date and form code
A note that you must file the return electronically
Line 4 split into lines 4a and 4b
The new line 11a
The update applies to the monthly, quarterly, and annual frequencies.
We updated the Connecticut O-255 Wholesale Alcoholic Beverage Tax Return to match the state's latest template. The return includes:
The new revision date
Reworded text in the Due Date section
A note that you must file the return electronically
The update applies to the direct-to-consumer and wholesale versions of the return for all monthly frequencies, including the small farm winery frequencies.
- Illinois
- We added the business name and the reporting period to the Chicago Liquor Tax return.
- Washington
- We updated the Washington Combined Excise Tax Return to
match the state's latest template. The return includes:
The new revision date
A line for recreational vehicles
Updated numbering for lines 41 through 52
The current rate on line 45
The update applies to the monthly, quarterly, and annual frequencies.
