Apply advanced settings for custom company names

Learn how to apply advanced settings to select how you want your company name to appear on registrations and reporting.

You can assign a customized DBA name, legal name, or both to a type of document (for example: wholesale label registrations, direct-to-consumer label registrations, and price postings) using the advanced settings.

Note:

If you specify a custom DBA on your license and by document type, the license DBA will take precedence.

In ShipCompliant, click Settings, then click Account Settings.
Click Advanced Name Settings.
Enter your Legal Name and Trade Name by document type.
Click Save Preferences.
