Access VAT Filing for the first time

Learn what you need to do to start using VAT Filing.

If your company is interested in VAT Filing, contact our Sales team. We can help you get started. After finding the right subscription for you, our implementation team will create a user profile for your selected account administrator and help add users from your team to the account.

You'll receive a training session to get familiar with your account and learn to use the key features of the app.

To get access to VAT Filing for the first time, a Sovos support representative needs to create a user account. Once the account is set up, you will receive an invitation email.

For companies that want to create an API or SFTP account, contact our Sovos support team at europesupport@sovos.com to get access.

Note:

Your account administrator can also provide access to other users at your company and set up their accounts.

In the invitation email, click Finish account setup.
Note:
The link expires after 72 hours. If you're unable to log in or the link has expired, contact europesupport@sovos.com.
In the new window, enter and confirm your password and click Continue.

Log In

The log in process details steps for accessing both UAT and PROD environments.

Go to one of these pages:
- PROD environment https://apr.sovos.com/Start/Login
- UAT environment https://apr-uat.sovos.com/Start/Login
Note:
To access UAT or PROD, the user must be created in that environment and receive the specific invitation.
Enter your email and password and select Log in.

Note:
Clients who have an APR account can't use the same login credentials to access API or SFTP accounts. Those clients must contact the Sovos support team to create a separate account.

Log out

Learn how to log out of the VAT Filing page.

Click the Your account icon in the bottom left corner of the page, and select Logout.
