View and export a total VAT per active tax code report

The Total VAT per active tax code report shows the total VAT amount by Sovos VAT code or your company's original tax code for a specific country, company, and period.

The Total VAT per active tax code report shows your total VAT, taxable base, and other information for a specific country and period. This report allows you to view totals for each and spot trends in the heat map. And you can view data using your Sovos VAT code or your company's tax code.

The total VAT per active tax code report can provide information in different ways. You can select the version from the side menu:

Regular version: This version has widgets and a month selection tool where you can choose to view only a single month.
Detailed version: This version doesn't have widgets, but it has a date selection filter that shows a list view from and to a specific date.

Go to Reports > Total VAT per active tax code
Use the available filters to run the report.
Tip:
You can select more than one company.
To switch between viewing the report by Sovos VAT code and original tax code, click the View by icon in the toolbar.
The report shows the following information:
Summary sections
Shows the Total VAT, Taxable Amount, the Sovos VAT code or the Tax codes.
Total VAT by Sovos VAT code or Total VAT by Tax codes
Shows the total VAT sorted by Sovos VAT code or original tax code. To view more than ten items, click the Expand icon.
Total VAT by Original tax code | Company or Total VAT by Sovos VAT code | Company
Shows the total VAT by original tax code or by Sovos VAT code, sorted by company. To view all items, click the Expand icon.
List View
Shows a list with more details for each transaction.
To export the data from List View, click Export.
