Set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

This task instructs you on how to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Sovos Identity account.

When setting up your Sovos Identity account, you'll also have the option to use two-factor authentication (2FA) to make your account more secure. Sovos recommends setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security.

On the login screen, enter your email and password. Then, click Log in.
When the 2FA prompt appears, click Get started.
Download an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, to your mobile phone. Once downloaded, follow the app directions and enter the unique setup key.
After saving the new account in the authenticator app, enter your device name and the device code.
Click Complete setup.

Setting up 2FA in Sovos File Portal turns on 2FA across all Sovos products.
