The following updates are scheduled to be released to the UAT environment on May 3, 2021, and to the production environment on May 6, 2021.
New and improved
- Chile and Colombia outbound/AR
- You can now retrieve notifications for a specific
documentId. - Security and performance
- Now, when you execute the Health check endpoint, you need to enter the API key in the header.
Bug fixes
- Improved error messages
- Error messages related to Standard Business Document validations were at times vague and failed to clearly point out the missing or wrongly provided parameters. We have improved these response messages to show more accurate details with complete path and properties.
- SCIGovtStatusCode
- The
SCIGovtStatusCodewas erroneously filtered out when you retrieved notifications for a document that had been rejected or had a tax authority error. - UK MTD reporting
- Country codes in Sovos Canonical Invoice for UK MTD reporting were limited to "GB". This caused errors when sending transactions with a different country code in the import and export cases.
- India e-Waybill
- E-Waybill did not show error messages as part of the HTTP response and missed the proper error codes in some cases. This made it hard to identify the reason for rejection.
- GET notifications by documentId
- If the
IncludeBinaryDataquery parameter was set to "true", the API always returned the "404 Notifications not found" error message for all error types. - Archived document retrieval
- When you tried to retrieve an archived document, the result would time out after 0.2 seconds (200 milliseconds).
- Error display
- When you used a non-TLS base URL, the error messages did not appear correctly when the TLS URL was required.
- Generic error
- The post-audit validation response returned a generic error instead of indicating whether the signature or the signer was invalid.
- Tax authority errors
- Error messages from the Chilean and Colombian tax authorities did not mention specifics and details for some error responses. This made it hard to resolve the issue.
