Introduction to the Indirect Tax API
An overview of the Indirect Tax API.
Sovos Indirect Tax API lets you integrate Sovos indirect tax services into your platform and connect any business system or data source to Sovos. The API (Application Programming Interface) offers a full range of options, making it possible to send, receive, and process any type of document in all supported countries.
Our API follows REST architectural principles, relies on HTTP as its foundation, and is always secured through HTTPS. Every request made to the API returns a JSON-formatted response that includes the requested resources and success or failure messages to help you quickly identify and resolve issues.
The Indirect Tax API includes the following resources:
- E-invoicing
- Resources to process, transmit and store documents
- Configuration
- Resources for partners to create and manage accounts
