Sign multiple EANCOM messages in an interchange

Sovos can sign one EANCOM message (between UNH to UNT) within one EANCOM interchange (UNA to UNZ). However, as the EANCOM specification permits multiple EANCOM messages in one EANCOM interchange, you can sign multiple messages.
  1. Parse out the EANCOM message (UNH to UNT) from the EANCOM interchange (UNA to UNZ).
  2. Add the UNB header and the UNZ trailer to the EANCOM message (UNH to UNT).
    Note:

As Sovos does not validate the UNZ segment, the counter is not crucial at this stage.

  3. Send the entire EANCOM interchange (UNB to UNZ) from step two to Sovos as input for the signing operation.
  4. From Sovos's response, parse out the signed EANCOM message (UNH to UNT for IDEAL_Invoic and GS1AT, or UNH to UNO/UNP for AECOC) and cache this message.
  5. Repeat steps one to four to sign the remaining EANCOM messages (UNH to UNT or UNH to UNO/UNP).
  6. Build an EANCOM interchange by adding the UNA and UNB headers and all signed messages (UNH to UNT or UNH to UNO or UNP) and appending the UNZ trailer.
    Note:

Ensure the UNZ trailer is correctly formatted, including the counter.
