Sovos Docs

March 20, 2026

The following updates in Compliance Network will be released to production on March 20, 2026.

New and improved

PEPPOL
  • We added support for self-billing document flows through the PEPPOL inbound connector. You can now receive and process self-billing invoices through the PEPPOL network.
  • We updated the PEPPOL inbound connector parameters to use issuer and recipient terminology. The connector parameters now align with the document flow semantics for clearer configuration.
  • We updated the process IDs and document type IDs included in PEPPOL report calculations. PEPPOL reports now accurately reflect all relevant document types and processes.
France
  • We updated the delete behavior for French directory entries. The system now handles directory entry removal correctly according to French mandate requirements.
  • We improved lifecycle handling for inbound documents. The system now correctly processes SBDH information and direction fields during transmission.
  • We improved document status updates when lifecycle delivery encounters errors. The system now updates the document status even when lifecycle delivery fails, so you can see accurate status information at all times.
  • We added product-level opt-in restrictions for endpoint management. You can now control which roles are allowed to create and update endpoints based on product opt-in requirements.
  • We updated the endpoint creation interface to enforce opt-in restrictions based on your role. The system now displays only the endpoint options that are available for your role and product configuration.

Bug fixes

Document detail
  • We fixed a problem that was causing lifecycle information to not appear in the document detail view. You can now see all lifecycle steps for a document in the detail view.
Document management
  • We fixed a problem that was causing the date filter on the sent and received documents table to not update results when a different date range was selected. You can now change the date filter and see the results update immediately.

Lifecycle detail
  • We fixed a problem that was causing country flags to not appear next to party information in the lifecycle detail view. You can now see country flags for each party in the lifecycle details.
Network services
  • We fixed a problem that was causing errors during the dynamic discovery of endpoints. The system now resolves endpoint discovery conflicts correctly when processing multiple documents for the same entities.
  • We fixed a problem that was causing transmission failures when processing refused status documents with an incorrect role code in the issuer trade party field. The system now assigns the correct role code during transmission processing.
Sent and received documents
  • We fixed a problem that was causing party roles to display as "Undefined" in the details drawer on the Sent and Received Documents page. You can now see the correct role for each party.

France
  • We fixed a problem with seller identifier handling in French CII format documents. The system now applies fallback logic to use alternative identifiers when the primary seller identifier is not available, so your documents process correctly regardless of the identifier format.
Spain
  • We fixed a problem that was causing invoice cancellation requests for received invoices to send incorrect sender identification to the Spanish tax authority. The system now sends the correct supplier tax identification number in cancellation requests, preventing rejection errors.
