Sovos Docs

October 22, 2025

The following updates are scheduled to be released to the UAT environment on October 22, 2025, and to the production environment on October 29, 2025.

New and improved

Transaction and document management
  • Legal invoice and legal lifecycle formats are now automatically generated based on product configuration.

  • Invoice documents are now validated using mandate-specific Schematron rules during reception, ensuring compliance before delivery. Validation applies directly to supported formats or through transformation when needed, with rejected lifecycles generated upon failure.

  • The plugin is now optional for lifecycle communications, allowing application responses to be generated without attached documents.

  • Two new integration statuses have been added to the core document lifecycle list: "In Process" and "Conditionally Accepted."

  • Added display of transaction request origin on the transaction details page for better traceability. Values include COAPI, Communications Gateway, Manual, System, and Unknown.

  • Added validation to ensure company endpoint configurations follow product direction: Outbound products only allow lifecycle, while inbound products must include Invoice and may also include lifecycle.

  • Implemented a rollback procedure when an error occurs on endpoint creation.

France e-Invoicing support
  • Updated CDAR and UBL coreset to the latest AFNOR specifications.

  • The CTC flow now transmits to the official channel in both environments, UAT and production.

  • On the CTC lifecycle, all the required statuses can be transmitted to the tax authority.

PEPPOL
  • Added support for the Belgium mandate through the PEPPOL network, enabling compliant e-invoicing for Belgian businesses.

  • Added support for dynamic delivery of trading partner endpoints in the PEPPOL network, enabling automatic discovery and routing based on participant identifiers.

  • Updated PEPPOL BIS 3 Schematron files released in May, 2025.

  • Added a new validation on the endpoint creation step, to check if the participant is already registered in an SMP.

  • Adapted the PEPPOL connector to obtain the access point certificate from cache.

  • Added support for PEPPOL Policy 1 for Participant Identifiers: Extended the endpoint code field to 130 characters, and aligned identifier validation with PEPPOL regex requirements.

ERP support
  • You can now define and manage ERP system communications directly at the workspace level.

  • The ERP system field in the company endpoint setup now supports selecting ERP systems defined either at the organization or at the workspace level.

User interface
  • URLs have been updated: UAT now uses uat-ns-compliance-network.sovos.com, and PROD uses ns-compliance-network.sovos.com.

  • User access level can now be changed between workspace and organization level, if the user is no longer associated with any entity.

  • The document detail page now displays detailed lifecycle status information, which enables users to understand document errors, refusals, and related guidance directly from the UI. Status information includes reasons, actions, and informational messages.

  • Users can now create company endpoints directly from the Workspace network detail page, with organization and company context provided to support accurate setup.

  • Organization Admin users can now create, edit, and delete company endpoints.

  • Removed Arabic language.

  • PDFs viewed or downloaded through the UI now adapt to the user's session language. Previews are rendered dynamically, and downloaded files are generated and stored in the session language.
