Returns dashboard
The default view in Sales Tax Filing is the Returns dashboard, where you can track your returns and file them after reviewing the data.
The Returns dashboard shows the total tax collected and the number of transactions included in returns for the selected filing period.
The Returns dashboard lists the returns that will be filed in the selected filing period, along with due dates and additional information for each return:
- Due
-
The date before which you must file the return. Sales Tax Filing automatically assigns this due date based on information from the taxing authority, but you can override this date when setting up the return on the State and Local Returns page.
The color of the due date shows whether the return is on track to be filed on time.
- Blue
-
There are at least two days remaining before the due date for the current workflow stage. The return is not yet in danger of being delayed.
- Orange
-
The current workflow stage is within two days of its due date. The return is in danger of being delayed.
- Red
-
The current workflow stage is past the due date or the return was submitted after the filing due date.
- Workflow
-
The workflow stage the return is currently in.
- Legal Entity

- Amount Due

The amount due to the taxing authority based on the return data in Sales Tax Filing.
