Distribution rules, E-Trace, alarms, and MQ queues control how the platform notifies people and systems about your documents.

A distribution rule defines the channel, the recipients, and the content of each delivery. An XPath expression filters which documents the rule applies to, so you can route documents from one issuer or one document type to a specific destination.

Alarms watch processes and folio levels and send email when a threshold is reached, for example when the folios available for invoices fall below the level that you set.

E-Trace and MQ queues serve integrations: E-Trace traces the events of a document, and MQ queues exchange documents with your own systems.
