Build a single visualization that you can pin to a dashboard.

1. Go to Dashboards. Select the Create Dashboard menu (or the Widgets tab) and choose Create Widget. The widget builder opens.
2. Select a data source from the source selector at the top left.
3. Add the columns to analyze, selecting measures, attributes, and dates from the left panel, then select Go. The visualization builds automatically.
4. Choose how to display the results. A visualization library is available on the right. Options include:

   • Table

   • Pivot table

   • KPI

   • Column

   • Bar

   • Line

   • Area

   • Donut

   • Scatter

   • Bubble

   • Waterfall

   • Heatmap

   • Treemap

   • Funnel

   • Geo (Bubble, Heatmap, or Area)

   • Sankey

   • Radar

   • Pareto

   Pick a type that suits your data and more chart types are available. For example, use a table or Pivot table when values can be negative.

5. Optionally refine using filters, formulas, or sets.
6. Open the widget More menu and select Save. Enter a name (and optional description), then save. You can also select Pin to add the visualization straight to a dashboard.
