Manage your password

You can reset or change your Sovos password at any time.

Your Sovos account allows you to access your Sovos products and services, including the email address and password that you use to log in and all the security details that you use across Sovos services. With one account, you can access most Sovos products.
Password requirements

  • 10 or more characters

  • At least 1 lowercase letter

  • At least 1 uppercase letter

  • At least 1 number

  • At least 1 special character (#$@!%*?&+~|{}:.-;<>/_)

  • No whitespace characters

  • Can't be a password you used previously

Password expiration policy and process
Your password expires every 90 days. When this happens, you'll be prompted to reset your password at your next login. Enter, then confirm your new password making sure the new password meets all the password requirements, then click Continue to save it.

Reset password

Learn how to reset your password if you forgot it or if it expired.
  1. Go to Sovos Home.
  2. On the login screen, click Forgot password.
  3. Enter your email address, then click Continue.
  4. Check your email for a message from noreply-account@sovos.com with the subject "Your verification code."
  5. Copy the six-digit verification code.
    Tip:

    If you can't find the reset email, search for emails from noreply-account@sovos.com or look for subject lines containing "verification code."

  6. On the Check verification code page, paste the code into the field.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Enter and confirm the new password, then click Continue.
    Make sure the new password meets all the password requirements.
  9. On the success page, click Continue again to return to the login page.

Change password in your account

To change your password, you need to be able to log in to Sovos with your Sovos credentials. If you forgot your password and can't log in, reset your password instead.
  1. Go to Sovos Home.
  2. On the login screen, enter your email and password, then click Log in.
  3. Click the Profile icon with your initials, then select Profile.
  4. On the next page, click Security on the menu.
  5. Click Manage in the Password section.

  6. Enter your current password, enter the new password, then click Save.
    Make sure the new password meets all the password requirements.
Your new password will take effect immediately across all Sovos products.
