This task details the process of proclaiming a No Data declaration within Sovos VAT Filing Services

1. On the Data page, click I have no data for this month when no data needs to be declared for a territory or all territories.
2. On the Select territories with no data screen, go to the Reporting Period field and enter a date.
3. Select a territory or multiple territories from the Territory dropdown menu.
   Tip:

   Click X next to a territory to remove it.

4. To add a comment, type your message into the Comments field, and click Comment.
5. Click Done when all fields are filled out.
   Note:

   An email will be sent out notifying the client and Managed Services of the no data declaration.

   On the Data page, all territories for the selected period will be marked as "No Data."
6. Click the Comment icon to add a new comment.
   Note:

   Files cannot be attached when no data is being declared.
