New and improved

ReportMyUP and ReportMyUP Plus
  • You can now create state reports for Guam. The Guam report includes a custom coversheet and has a unique report file format.

    • The full state report package includes an XLSX file with the text "NAUPA" in the file name. You must submit this file to Guam along with the coversheet and payment.

    • We updated all the compliance documents available to download on the All tab of the Compliance Resources page to include Guam.

  • The Report History page now automatically sorts state reports by the Date Created column in descending order. Meaning the most recent reports are displayed first for easy reference.

  • When adding and editing properties, validation warning messages will now appear when saving changes. Warnings will display on a yellow background, informing you of missing or incorrectly formatted information. The validation warning message is highlighted.
    Note:

Properties with unresolved warnings may not be included in state reports.

  • When importing safe deposit box properties (SDxx), the Date Opened field is now required. This aligns with manual add and edit validations and ensures compliance with NAUPA requirements.

Regulatory updates

ReportMyUP and ReportMyUP Plus
  • We added a data entry validation warning for IRA accounts to ensure beneficiary information is included for accounts that are payable to beneficiaries after the account holder's death. IRxx properties with the Date of death field populated must now include an additional owner with the beneficiary relationship code, if known.

ReportMyUP Plus only
  • We made the tangible code data entry more flexible for states that do not support tangible codes.

    • You can now add safe deposit box contents for these states (CT, DE, GU, HI, MA, MI, MS, MO, NH, NY, OR, PR, SC, TX, VA, and WI) by using standard tangible codes (BOND, CASH, COIN, JEWL, MEDL, MISC, PAPR, STCK, and STMP), which improves tracking and audit integrity.

    • For states that advise the liquidation of safe deposit box contents (CT, DE, NH, NY, and SC), an import warning will now display when using these standard tangible codes.

    • Contents of safe deposit boxes in the previously mentioned states will not appear in their NAUPA files.

  • Invalid tangible codes will now be excluded from state reports, ensuring compliance with current state regulations.
