Troubleshoot missing documents and incorrect tax amounts

Download the connector files, or ERP logs, to troubleshoot these issues.

There are several ways to download the connector files.

Download the connector files using version 9.3.1.

In version 9.3.1 of the SAP connector, you can use the Adapter Files tool to download connector files directly from SAP.
  1. Choose the Adapter Files option in the Cockpit.
  2. Enter the information on the Selection screen:
    In the Country field, enter the key for the country you're using (for example, US for United States Determination, CA for Canada Determination). The tool uses this key to select the procedure and choose where to download the file from.
  3. Click Execute to run the program.
    When the program has finished running, you'll see a list of files. If your RFC trace is enabled in SAP, these files will be available for download.
  4. Click the Arrow icon in the right column to download the following files:
    • To view the log file, download the sovosJcoServer.log file.
    • To view the configuration files, download the adapter.ini and log4j2.xml files.
  5. In the pop-up window, choose where you want to store the files and save.
  6. Open the files and check the information.

Download the connector files using version 9.2.0

In version 9.2.0 of the SAP connector, you can use the Adapter Log tool to download the connector log directly from SAP.
  1. Choose the Download log option in the Cockpit.
  2. Enter the information on the Selection selection screen:
    In the Country field, enter the key for the country you're using (for example, US for United States Determination, CA for Canada Determination). The tool uses this key to select the procedure and choose where to download the file from.
  3. Click Execute to run the program.
    When the program has finished running, you'll see a list of files. If your RFC trace is enabled in SAP, these files will also be available for download.
  4. Click the Arrow icon in the right column to download the sovosJcoServer.log connector log file.
  5. In the pop-up window, choose where you want to store the files and save.
  6. Open the files and check the information.

Download the connector files manually

  1. Go to the folder where the connector is installed.
  2. Find the sovosJcoServer file.
  3. Open the file to view the connector log.
