Update a plant address and tax jurisdiction codes

The following steps describe how to update the plant address and tax jurisdiction codes in SAP for Tax Determination.

Use this method if you want to update a few jurisdiction codes only. If you want to update a lot of codes, run the Geo Code Batch Program instead.

Enter the T-Code /nOX10 to open the Change View "Plants": Overview screen.
Double-click the plant to display the plant details.
In the menu, go to Go to > Address.
Enter the new values in the following fields:
1. House number/street
2. Postal Code
3. City
4. Region
Press Enter.
Pressing Enter initiates a RFC_DETERMINE_JURISDICTION call to the connector and Tax Determination.
Select one of the newly returned tax jurisdiction codes by double-clicking it.

Tip:
Talk to your tax consultant to see which jurisdiction code you should select.
Click the Check mark icon to continue.
Click Save to save the plant with the new tax jurisdiction code.
