Create a standard sales order with header-level freight charges

The following steps describe how to create a standard sales order and add header-level freight charges in SAP with taxes from Tax Determination.

When the connector is integrated with your SAP system it will work for all of SAP's standard scenarios, both AP and AR. If you want the connector to work for specific scenarios only, you will need to add customization.

Enter the T-Code VA01.
Enter OR in the Order Type field. Click Enter.
On the Create Standard Order: Overview screen, enter the appropriate values for the following fields:

Sold-To Party

Enter the appropriate value, for example: 300026

Ship-To Party

Enter the appropriate value, for example: 300026

Material

Enter P-103

Order Quantity

Enter the appropriate value

Un

Enter PC

PInt

Enter the appropriate value, for example: 3000

Amount

Enter the appropriate value, for example: 1000

Crcy

Enter the appropriate value, for example: CAD
Click Enter.
Double-click the first line item and choose a sales organization/distribution channel/division combination for the record.
Review the default recommendations in the order.
Select the form you need, then go to Goto > Header > Conditions.
Taxes are calculated with no jurisdictional breakdown.
Review the line-level tax breakdown, then press F3.
Select the item line, then click the coin icon.
You have created a standard sales order.
To add a header-level freight charge, go to GoTo > Header.
Add a condition by entering the following in a new line:
1. Enter HD00 in the CnTy column.
2. Enter the appropriate value in the Amount column.
Click Enter.
Review the line item conditions and press F3.
Select the line item, then click the coin icon.
The amount in the Net Value for Item field is the currency-adjusted value. The Net Value 2 field includes the freight charges but is not used in the tax calculation.
Click Save.
