Create a sales invoice

Follow these steps to create a sales invoice in NetSuite SuiteTax with taxes from Tax Determination.

Set up accounting periods.

Go to Setup > Accounting > Manage Accounting Periods.
Create a customized accounting period, or click Set Up Full Year and click Submit.

Go to Transactions > Sales > Create Invoices.
Select a customer from the Customer dropdown.
On the Items tab, select an item from the Item dropdown.
Enter an amount in the Amount field, then click Add.
Click Preview Tax.
Check the total tax amount in the Summary box.
Go to the Tax Details to check the individual tax lines. Click Save.

Important:
When an invoice is edited in any way, including saving, the connector will be triggered and tax will be updated according to the changes.
