Configure tax types

Follow these steps to configure tax types in NetSuite SuiteTax for Tax Determination.

Every nexus that is added to tax types must have a tax agency assigned to it first.
  1. Go to Setup > Tax > Tax Types.
  2. Select the tax type.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Add at least one nexus and a payables or a receivables account by selecting them from the dropdown at the bottom of each column.
  5. Click Save.
