Learn how to deploy the Sovos Legacy Configuration Pass Encrypt script to encrypt the API password.

1. Go to Customization > Scripting > Scripts.
2. Click View in the Sovos Legacy Configuration Pass Encrypt row.
3. On the Deployments tab, open the Sovos Legacy Configuration record, then click Sovos Legacy Configuration.
   If the Sovos Legacy Configuration record does not exist, click Deploy Script to create the record, then click Sovos Legacy Configuration.
4. In the Applies To field, enter Sovos Legacy Configuration.
5. In the ID field, enter _svs_ues2_encrypt_config.
   NetSuite Legacy Tax will add customdeploy to the beginning of the ID.
6. Select the following options:

   Deployed

   Select this option

   Status

   Select Released

   Log Level

   Select Debug

   Execute as Role

   Select Administrator

7. In the Audience tab, select the following options:

   Roles

   Select All

   Subsidiaries

   Select the subsidiaries that you will use the connector for

   Employees

   Select All

8. Click Save.
