Learn how to create a new vendor and set it as a tax agency.

You can use tax agencies in NetSuite Legacy Tax to funnel tax amounts to specific bank accounts. Any vendor set up in NetSuite can be a tax agency. Every nexus should have its own tax agency.

1. Go to Lists > Relationships > Vendors.
2. Click New Vendor.
3. On the Information tab, enter the name of the tax agency in the Company Name field, then select Tax agency from the Category dropdown.
4. If you have a NetSuite OneWorld account, select a subsidiary from the Subsidiary dropdown.
5. Click Save.
