About corrections
Find out what a correction is.
If a payer, recipient, or form you previously transmitted to the IRS has an error or incorrect information, you need to amend it and send the updated record to the IRS. This process is called making a correction.
Note: Importing corrections is not supported. All corrections must be done manually.
