• We added a bypass checkbox to NetSuite SuiteTax transactions. Select the checkbox to skip the tax calculation call to Tax Determination while you create or edit the transaction. Clear the checkbox to send the current transaction data to Tax Determination and keep the transaction available for reporting and filing. Use this to hold high-volume orders until they are final and reduce the number of calls to Tax Determination.

• The bypass checkbox is not available for committed transactions. If you try to bypass tax calculation on a committed transaction, you get the following error message: "This transaction is already committed and cannot be bypassed."

• When you clear the bypass checkbox on a pending transaction, the connector sends the transaction to Tax Determination and removes it from the Pending service.

We added a warning message for committed transactions. When you edit a committed transaction, you see the message: "This transaction has been committed to Tax Determination and your changes will only be made in NetSuite." You can still edit or delete the transaction.

We added Entity/Use Code to the Sovos Customization Elements. You can now send the Entity/Use Code from NetSuite to Tax Determination and exempt eligible transactions automatically. You no longer need to map a custom attribute to a determination rule for each reason for exemption.

We improved how the connector stores credentials. One gateway script now holds the connector credentials and forwards every connector call, so new scripts in future bundle updates work as soon as you install them without requiring you to run Sovos Configuration Setup again.

We fixed an issue where transactions with discount items returned an error when the Sovos Discount Type customization element wasn't set. The connector now uses the display name of the discount item as the discount type.
