Define exemption categories for your products and services by mapping them to Entity/Use Codes.

1. Log in to Global Tax Determination and go to Account Setup > Entity/Use Codes.
2. Click one of the following:
   • If this is your first time mapping Entity/Use Codes, click Map Entity/Use Code.
   • If your organization already has Entity/Use Code mappings, click Add New.
3. Find the Entity/Use Code you want to map your code to:
   • To search for the code, click the Search icon and enter a keyword in the Search field, then click the Search icon again or press Enter on your keyboard.
   • To find the code manually, click the arrows to expand the sections until you reach the code.
4. Select the Entity/Use Code, then click Next.
5. Enter your ERP's exemption code, then click Add.
   The code will appear in the Mapped codes section.
6. To map more exemption codes to this Entity/Use Code, repeat the previous step.
7. Click Save.
